Apģērbs un interjers Māteru Jura romānā “Sadzīves viļņi”

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ,,Apģērbs un interjers Māteru Jura romānā ,,Sadzīves viļņi”” ir analizēts 1879. gadā pirmpublicētais romāns semiotiskā aspektā, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot 19. gs. interjeram muižā un zemnieku mājās, kā arī drēbēm un aksesuāriem kā laikmeta raksturotājiem. Darba sākumdaļā sniegts ieskats semiotikas teorijā, tai seko Māteru Jura (1845-1885) dzīves un laikmeta kontekstu atklāsme. Telpu raksturojumā galvenā uzmanība pievērsta sadzīves priekšmetiem, t.i. mēbelēm; apģērba raksturojumā – apģērbam un aksesuāriem. Māteru Jura romānā iekļautais interjera un apģērbu raksturojums papildina un padziļina priekšstatu par autora daiļradi, par viena no pirmajiem oriģinālromāniem poētiku, kā arī par latviešu un vācu sabiedrības attiecībām un laikmetu kopumā.

In the bachelor thesis ’’Clothing and Interior in Māteru Juris’ Novel “Sadzīves viļņi” (The Waves of Household, 1879)” the novel in analyzed from the semiotic view point, focusing on the interior in the manor and farmer’s houses, as well as clothes and accessories of the 19th century as the describers of the era. The initial insight into the theory of semiotics is followed by the revelation of the context of life and the era of Māteru Juris. In the description of rooms, the main focus is on household objects, i.e., furniture; in the description of clothing – clothes and accessories. The description of interior and clothing included in Māters Jura’s novel complements and deepens the notion of the author’s creative work, the poetics of one of the first original novels, as well as the relations between Latvian and German society and the epoch in general as a whole.
