Darbs ir veltīts lietvārdu pētījumam, kuri darināti no darbības vārdiem ar -dl, -л sufiksu slāvu valodās. Autors apkopo, analizē un salīdzina lietvārdus ar šo sufiksu mūsdienu krievu, čehu, poļu un serbu valodā. Darbā tiek pētīta šo sufiksu semantika, etimoloģija, kā arī fonētiskie procesi, kas ar to saistīti. Darbs var būt saistošs tiem, kas pēta slāvu valodu vēsturisko gramatiku, konkrēti vārdus ar sufiksu -dl, -л.
