N. Ļeskova garstāsta „Mcenskas apriņķa lēdija Makbeta” ekranizācija: „Lēdija Makbeta” (Lielbritānija, 2016.g., rež.: Viljams Oldroids)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts N. Ļeskova garstāsta „Mcenskas apriņķa Lēdija Makbeta” un Viljama Oldroida „Lēdija Makbeta” (2016. gada, Lielbritānija) ekranizācijai. Pētījuma mērķis ir salīdzināt garstāstu un tā ekranizāciju. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta kadra nozīmei, plānām, perspektīvai un kinofilmas montāžai, skaņai, ekranizācijas estētiskajam noformējumam, kā arī sižeta un varoņu salīdzinājumam garstāstā un ekranizācijā. Autors veic garstāsta un tā interpretācijas salīdzinošu analīzi, apkopo savus novērojumus un argumentē tos. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā daļā atspoguļoti teorētiski jautājumi, kuri ir nepieciešami pētījuma veikšanai. Otrajā daļā, atbilstoši izvirzītajiem darba uzdevumiem un izvēlētajām analīzes metodēm, tiek veikta garstāsta un tā ekranizācijas salīdzinoša analīze. Pētījums var ieinteresēt filologus, kuri nodarbojas ar literatūrā darba ekranizācijas jautājumiem, kā arī visus, kas interesējas par šo problēmu.

The bachelor paper is devoted to Nikolai Leskov’s novella “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk Disctict” and William Oldroyd’s screen adaptation “Lady Macbeth” (UK, 2016). The aim of the bachelor paper is to compare and analyze the novella and its screen adaptation. The special attention is paid to the importance of the frame, plan, vision perspective, film editing, sound and aesthetic design of the screen adaptation, as well as to the comparison of the plot and characters of the novella and the screen adaptation. The author conducts a comparative analysis of the novella and its interpretation, the screen adaptation, summarizing observations through argumentation. The bachelor paper consists of two parts. The first part presents the theoretical questions that are essential for the implementation of the research, whereas the second part, in accordance with the set of the tasks and methods chosen, analyzes the novella and its screen adaptation in a comparative aspect. The research may be of interest to philologists who deal with similar issues, as well as to the readers who are interested in the research topic.
