Abstract
ANOTACIJA Promocijas darbs „Arhitekturas piemineklu saglabašana Latvija, 19. gadsimta otra puse – 1940. gads” izstradats Latvijas Universitates Vestures un filozofijas fakultates Arheologijas un vestures paligzinatnu katedra 2007. gada. Autors: Martinš Mintaurs, zinatniskais vaditajs: LU asoc. prof., Dr. hist. Aleksandrs Gavrilins. Darbs sastav no ievada, avotu un literaturas apskata, trim nodalam, nobeiguma, izmantoto avotu un literaturas saraksta un deviniem pielikumiem. 1. nodala raksturota arhitekturas piemineklu aizsardzibas teoretisko koncepciju attistiba Eiropa apskatamaja laika posma. 2. nodala izverteti vesturisko celtnu saglabašanas pasakumi Latvijas teritorija lidz 1914. gadam. 3. nodala analizeta Latvijas Republikas Izglitibas ministrijas Piemineklu valdes darbiba arhitekturas piemineklu aizsardzibas joma starpkaru perioda: aplukota piemineklu aizsardzibas likumdošana, vesturisko celtnu inventarizacija un valsts loma to praktiskaja saglabašana.
 
ANNOTATION The dissertation “Protection of Architectural Heritage in Latvia, the 2nd Half of the 19th Century – 1940” created at the University of Latvia, Department of Archaeology and Ancillary Historical Disciplines of the Faculty of History and Philosophy in 2007 by Martins Mintaurs under the guidance of associated professor Aleksandrs Gavrilins, Dr. hist. The dissertation includes introduction, examination of sources and bibliography, three chapters, conclusion, index of sources and nine thematic appendixes. Chapter 1 gives some basic characteristics of the theoretical conceptions of architectural conservation developed in Europe during the period of time in question. Chapter 2 is devoted to the first systematic measures in architectural heritage protection undertaken on the present-day territory of Latvia until 1914. Chapter 3 approaches both the legal grounds and practical arrangements in the field of architectural conservation in Republic of Latvia during the inter-war period.
