Interpretāciju metode elementārajā matemātikā un matemātikas sacensības pamatskolas vecuma skolēniem

Abstract

Promocijas darbā pētīti jautājumi, kā rosināt skolēnu interesi par matemātiku un attīstīt viņu matemātiskās spējas ar matemātikas sacensību palīdzību, kā arī, kāda loma izglītības procesā ir vai varētu būt interpretāciju metodei – vienai no svarīgākajām vispārīgajām matemātikas metodēm. Darbā dots īss pārskats par interpretāciju metodi matemātikā, izveidota skolā lietojamu interpretāciju veidu klasifikācija, norādīti interpretāciju metodes lietojumu plusi un mīnusi. Darbā pētīta un analizēta matemātisko sacensību nozīmība izglītības procesā, pilnveidota matemātikas sacensību sistēma pamatskolēniem Latvijā, t.sk. analizējot pamatskolas skolēniem paredzēto matemātisko sacensību uzdevumu tematiku. Balstoties uz šo pētījumu rezultātiem, izstrādāti mācību līdzekļi matemātikas padziļinātai apguvei un organizēti kursi un semināri skolēniem un matemātikas skolotājiem, ieviests jauns konkurss 4.klašu skolēniem „Tik vai... Cik?”, organizēts Jauno matemātiķu konkurss un citas matemātiskas sacensības.

The problem of rousing the interest of pupils in mathematics and developing their mathematical abilities through mathematical competitions, as well as the (possible) role of the method of interpretations – one of the most important general mathematical methods – in the education are considered in the work of promotion. A short overview of the method of interpretations in mathematics is given. The classification of the interpretations that can be used in school is developed, the advantages and disadvantages of the use of method of interpretations are indicated. The significance of the mathematical competitions in educational process is investigated and analyzed. The system of mathematical competitions for elementary school pupils in Latvia is improved. Among other tools, the analysis of the problem topics in these competitions is carried out. On the basis of this research new teaching aids for advanced acquiring of mathematics are elaborated and published, lecture courses and seminars for pupils and teachers are organized and delivered, a new contest for 4-graders “So Much or… How Much?” is set up, the “Young Mathematicians’ Contest” and other mathematical competitions are organized.
