„Latvijas dziļo ezeru pelagiāla zooplanktona faunistiskās un laiktelpiskās struktūras raksturojums”
anotācija
Pētījuma mērķis - izpētīt Latvijas saldūdeņos brīvi dzīvojošo airkājvēžu sugu daudzveidību un Latvijas dziļo ezeru pelagiāla zooplanktona vertikālo dinamiku atkarībā no diennakts laika, sezonas un dažādiem ietekmējošiem abiotiskiem un biotiskiem faktoriem.
Pētījuma rezultātā pirmo reizi izveidots Latvijas saldūdeņos brīvi dzīvojošo airkājvēžu sugu saraksts, konstatēta Latvijas faunai jauna airkājvēžu suga. Pētījums papildina esošo informāciju par Latgales dziļo ezeru hidroķīmiju un hidrobioloģiju, raksturo dažādu zooplanktona sugu lomu ekosistēmas trofiskajā tīklā vertikālās segregācijas un sezonas aspektā. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina par trofijas pakāpes izmaiņām eitrofikācijas virzienā. Diennakts vertikālo migrāciju ritms zooplanktona dzīvniekiem Latvijas dziļajos ezeros sezonas laikā ir mainīgs.

| dc.description.abstract | Annotation of the thesis
„Characterization of the faunistic and spatial structure of the pelagic zooplankton in the Latvian deep lakes”
The goal was to investigate the diversity of the free-living freshwater copepods and describe patterns of the vertical dynamics of pelagic zooplankton in relation to diel variation, season and influence of different abiotic and biotic factors in deep lakes in Latvia.
The results of the study enabled for the first time to provide a list of the free-living freshwater copepod species, a new copepod species for Latvian fauna was found. The research supplements existing information on the hydrochemistry and hydrobiology of Latgale's deep lakes, the role of diverse zooplankton species in the ecosystem within the framework of the vertical segregation and season is shown. Changes towards the direction of eutrophication are indicated. The rhythm of the vertical migration for zooplankton of Latvias deep lakes is variable throughout the season.
