Operas režijas tendences Latvijas Nacionālajā operā (1995-2003)

Abstract

INGRĪDA VILKĀRSE OPERAS REŽIJAS TENDENCES LATVIJAS NACIONĀLAJĀ OPERĀ (1995 – 2003) Anotācija Promocijas darbs veidots kā pētījums teātra zinātnē, izvērtējot LNO iestudējumu režijas tendences un pamatojoties uz to, ka apskatāmajā periodā pirmo reizi LNO vēsturē tieši operas režija kļuvusi par mākslinieciski nozīmīgu un ietekmīgu parādību Latvijas skatuves mākslas kontekstā, tāpēc to ir iespējams salīdzināt gan ar novatoriskākajiem režijas darbiem Latvijas dramatiskajos teātros, gan ar operas režijas ievērojamākajiem paraugiem ārzemēs. No 1995. līdz 2003. gadam LNO kopumā iestudētas divdesmit astoņas operu izrādes, no kurām trīspadsmit jauniestudējumi veidoti pēc vēsturiski tradicionālajiem operas režijas kanoniem, bet piecpadsmit – kā disonējošās režijas inscenējumi. Promocijas darbā analizēti piecpadsmit LNO disonējošās režijas iestudējumi laikposmā no 1995. gada līdz 2003. gadam, kad Latvijas operas režijā aktuālas kļūst pasaules operas režijas novatoriskās tendences. Pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt operas režijas novatoriskās tendences LNO, kā arī to realizāciju laikposmā no 1995. līdz 2003. gadam, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot operas režijas valodas estētikai. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1) raksturot Latvijas operas režijas situāciju 1995.–2003. gadā, fiksējot tradīciju un novāciju korelāciju; 2) restaurēt (dokumentāli protokolēt režijas, scenogrāfijas u. c. norises) un analizēt (semiotikas aspektā) operas izrādes, kas LNO pārstāv disonējošās režijas principus laikposmā no 1995. līdz 2003. gadam; 3) atklāt operas režijas novatoriskās tendences modernisma un postmodernisma estētikas koordinātās.

TENDENCIES OF OPERA PRODUCTION IN THE LATVIAN NATIONAL OPERA (1995 – 2003) The subject of investigation is the tendencies of opera direction in the Latvian National Opera productions in the time period from the year 1995 till 2003. It is a significant reform phase in the history of the Latvian National Opera: during a short decade a new scenic language comes and settles in the opera direction – dissonant principle of staging. Till 1995 the dominating principle of direction in the Latvian National Opera is historically traditional. In this doctorate work fifteen productions of Latvian National Opera, video tape recordings of productions, libretto materials and opera scores are analyzed. From the 1995 till 2003 in Latvian National Opera have been staged twenty eight operas all together: thirteen new productions are made in historically traditional opera directing canons, but fifteen made as productions of dissonant opera directing. Choosing the objects for the doctorate work’s research, the productions of Latvian National Opera were selected, which in the above mentioned period have been staged according to dissonant opera directing principles, using the elements of modernism and postmodernism esthetics and synthesis, and mark a new opera direction tendency in the Latvian National Opera. These opera productions possesses untraditional and innovative nature, the priority of staging is directed towards the synthesis of different kinds of arts, where stage time and space in the opera productions acquires new reality, transforming into poly-stylistic visual stage language.
