Valodas reģistrs parlamentā: sistēmiski funkcionālais skatījums

Abstract

Promocijas darbā „Valodas reģistrs parlamentā: sistēmiski funkcionālais skatījums” veikta reģistra jēdziena izpēte sistēmiski funkcionālās valodniecības tradīcijā, to skatot kopsakarā ar latviešu valodnieku atziņām valodas funkcionalitātes izpētē. Analizētas Latvijas Republikas Saeimas debates, atklājot valodas kvantitatīvo mērījumu nozīmi reģistra raksturošanā. Izstrādātais reģistra analīzes modelis aptver valodas morfoloģijas, leksiskās semantikas un sintakses resursus ciešā saistījumā ar to funkcijām saziņas situācijā. Kvantitatīvā analīze atklāj saziņas leksisko kompozīciju, patstāvīgo vārdu un palīgvārdu dinamiku, vārda saknes realizācijas daudzveidību, vārdšķiru lietojumu, saziņas galvenos semantiskos laukus, svešvārdu lietojumu. Balstoties uz lingvistisko pazīmju sakarībām analizētajā izlases materiālā, sniegts parlamentārās saziņas kā funkcionāla valodas paveida – reģistra raksturojums. Doctoral thesis „Register of Parliamentary Discourse: Systemic Functional Perspective” investigates the concept of register within Systemic Functional Linguistics, tracing its development and comparing it with the notion of functional style in the Latvian linguistic tradition. The paper presents an in-depth analysis of the language used in the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia as a quantitative study of the register. The examination of the Systemic Functional Theory has resulted in a framework for Latvian text analysis where the morphological, lexico-gramatical and syntactic properties of the text are viewed in terms of their situational realization. A corpus-based analysis reveals the lexical composition of the sample, the dynamics of functional and notional words, use of parts of speech, derivational diversity and semantics. On the basis of the linguistic regularities identified in the corpus the description of the Latvian parliamentary register as a functional variety of language is developed.
