Kazimira Buiņicka ieguldījums Latgales novadpētniecībā

Abstract

Pētījums veltīts salīdzinoši nesen aktualizētam jautājumam, kas saistīts ar poļu laicīgo muižnieku – kultūras darbinieku devumu Latgales novadpētniecībā. Bakalaura darbā, kas balstīts historiogrāfijas analīzē, tiek pētīta Latgalē dzimuša 19. gadsimta pirmās puses pētnieka un literāta, poļu muižnieka Kazimira Buiņicka sabiedriskā un literārā darbība, kas veltīta tagadējās Latgales reģiona izpētei. Darba mērķis ir raksturot Kazimira Buiņicka kā Latgales kultūrvēsturē nozīmīgas personības ieguldījumu reģiona novadpētniecības aizsākšanā un veicināšanā. Pētījuma izstrādes laikā tika apkopots un analizēts pieejamais Buiņicka atstātais mantojums - literārās publikācijas, zinātniski pētnieciskas ievirzes darbi, periodiski izdevumi. Materiāla analīze tiek skatīta kontekstā ar vēlāko Buiņicka dzīves un atstātā mantojuma pētnieku darbiem, tādējādi ļaujot veidot plašāku priekšstatu par viņa kā novadpētniecības procesu aizsācēja lomu tālākā reģiona vēstures izpētes gaitā.

Paper focuses on a relatively recently updated issue related to the contribution of Polish nobles, secular cultural workers, to the study of local history of Latgale region. This Bachelor’s thesis is a research that is based on historiographic analysis about Polish noblemen’s Kazimierz Bujnicki, researcher and literate of the first half of 19th century, public and literary activities dedicated to the study of the current Latgale region. The aim of this paper is to describe K. Bujnicki’s contribution in initiating and promoting the study of local history of Latgale region. During the research the available legacy of Bujnicki, including literary publications, scientific research works and periodicals, was collected and analysed. Study of those sources all together with the most important of the later researchers works of K. Bujnicki’s life and legacy allows to shape the finer and wider view on his unique role in the forming and developing the study of regional history.
