Viena no mulsinošākajām problēmām, kas saistīta ar Kanta politisko domu, ir tāda, ka viņš atbalsta absolūto liegumu uz sacelšanos, kas šķiet pretrunīgi, ņemot vērā gan Kanta personiskos uzskatus, gan viņa filozofijas garu. One of the most puzzling problems associated with Kant’s political thought is his endorsement of an absolute prohibition of resistance to the state, which seems counterintuitive given both Kant’s personal beliefs and the spirit of his philosophy. The current paper sets to investigate the conditions for the prohibition of rebellion within Kant’s political philosophy and answer the question, whether resistance is always prohibited. Through examining how does the necessity and purpose of political society relate to the conditions for the prohibition of rebellion, it has been established that, if the regime is cannot be considered a political society, then resistance is not prohibited. Moreover, it may also be regimes, which are distinct from the state of nature, yet where the prohibition of rebellion could not be applied.
