“Pokaiņu svētvietas” fenomens, tā veidošanās vēsture un arheoloģiskās liecības

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ietvaros, analizējot rakstiskos avotus (literatūru un periodikas izdevumus) un arheoloģiskās liecības, tika identificēti galvenie faktori, kas no 20. gadsimta beigām līdz 2020. gadam, ir ietekmējuši Pokaiņu meža fenomena veidošanos. Lai rastu skaidrojumu, kā mijiedarbības procesā starp ezotēriskiem pieņēmumiem un akadēmiskiem uzskatiem ir radies fenomens par Pokaiņu meža svētvietu, tika hronoloģiski analizēts Pokaiņu meža mitoloģizēšanās process dažādu personību un to uzskatu ietekmē, rezultātā radot jaunu tūrisma objektu Latvijā.

Within the framework of this bachelor’s thesis by analying written sources (literature and periodicals) and archeological evidence the main factors that influenced the formation of the Pokaiņu forest phenomenon from the end of the 20th century until 2020 were identified. In order to find an explanation of how in the process of interactions between esoteric beliefs and academic assumptions the phenomenon of the Pokaiņi forest holy place has originated a chronological analysis was conducted on the mithologisation of the Pokaiņi forest through the influence of different personas and their beliefs, which has resulted in the creation of a new tourism object in Latvia
