Ilgstošas fosforescences dizains karbazola atvasinājumos. Mazarevičs A., zinātniskie vadītāji Mg. chem. Leduskrasts K., Prof., Dr. chem. Design of ultra-long phosphorescence in carbazole derivatives. Mazarevics A., supervisors M.S. chem. Leduskrasts K., Prof., Dr. chem Sūna E. Bachelor’s thesis, 62 pages, 55 figures, 10 tables, 42 references, 4 appendices. In Latvian. In a literature review pathways for obtaining luminescence and phosphorescence were analysed. Examples of purely organic phosphorescence through crystallization, heavy atom effects, intermolecular and intramolecular interactions, and the introduction of an undivided electron pair or carbonyl group into a molecule were shown. The results section describes the synthesis, analyses the luminescent properties, as well as analyses the X-ray structure images of the compounds. In the experimental part, 15 compounds were synthesized, of which 4 contain a benzene ring as a linker, 4 contain a thiophene ring as a linker, and 7 contain a thiophene ring, that is synthetically protected by an alkyl chain, as a linker. The experimental part describes the methods of synthesis, and characterises the synthesised compounds using 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR, EA and HRMS analysis methods.
