The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of brain hemispheric dominance on a student’s way of thinking and solving math problems related to volumetric shapes, and to develop aids for students who need to improve their spatial thinking. Throughout the course of the study it was planned to compile information about the differentiation of the learning process and impact of the brain hemispheric dominance on the learning process, and to do a small sample size research using Gardner’s test, and observe the behavior of students while solving math problems related to volumetric shapes. In addition, it was planned to develop aids for students who need to improve their spatial thinking and examine these aids in a small group. It was assumed, that aids will help students with the left hemisphere dominance, who are solving math problems related to volumetric shapes, to gain an understanding and improve their performance during classes.
