Paroimijas Sudas leksikonā: forma un jēdzieniskais saturs

Abstract

Maģistra darba Paroimijas Sudas leksikonā: forma un jēdzieniskais saturs mērķis ir izpētīt Sudas leksikonā atrodamo paroimiju struktūru, saturu un pielietojumu. Darba ietvaros ir mēģināts izveidot sengrieķu paroimijas definīciju, kas ietver gan saturisko, gan strukturālo aspektu. Maģistra darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām – Paroimija, Paroimijas statuss un struktūra, Paroimijas Sudas leksikonā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkotās antīko autoru atziņas par paroimijas saturu ir papildinātas ar mūsdienu zinātnieku paroimijas struktūras analīzi, kā arī ir apskatīta paroimijas definēšanas un tulkošanas problemātika. Praktiskajā daļā ir analizētas lemmas, kuru pamatā ir kādas paroimijas, kas tiek skaidrotas, turklāt šķirklī tās ir apzīmētas ar attiecīgo grieķu leksēmu παροιμία. Pētījumu veido aprakstoša analīze un statistisks novērtējums, izmantojot kvantitatīvo metodi.

The aim of the Master’s Thesis Paroimiai in the Suda Lexicon: Form and Conceptual Content is to explore the structure, content and application of the paroimiai found in the Suda Lexicon. As a part of the work, an attempt has been made to establish a definition of ancient Greek paroimia, which includes both content and structure aspects. The Master’s Thesis consists of three chapters – Paroimia, Paroimia’s Status and Structure, Paroimiai in the Suda Lexicon. The theoretical part of the work deals with the question of definition and translation of paroimia and the findings of the antique authors on the content of paroimia, which have been complemented by modern scientists' analysis of paroimial structures. The practical part analyses the lemmata based on a paroimiai that are explained, and is marked with the corresponding Greek lexeme παροιμία. The study consists of a descriptive analysis and a statistical assessment using a quantitative method.
