Latvijas publiskie intelektuāļi perestroikas un atmodas laikā: identitāšu konstruēšana un publiskie diskursi (1986-1992)

Abstract

Šis darbs analizē Latvijas publisko intelektuāļu diskursus, pēta to noturību un mainību laikā, interakciju ar citiem publiskajā telpā pastāvošiem diskursiem, kā arī intelektuāļu kolektīvās identitātes konstuēšanu. Par pētāmo periodu izvēlēts laiks no 20. gadsimta 80. gadu beigām līdz 90. gadu sākumam, aptverot pārejas periodu no padomju uz pēcpadomju situāciju. Pētījums ir starpdisciplinārs, tas savieno komunikācijas zinātni ar socioloģijas un vēstures perspektīvu. Darbā izveidots trīsdimensionāla intelektuāļu identifikācijas shēma, ar kura palīdzību atlasīti 43 perestroikas un Trešās atmodas laika Latvijas intelektuāļi. Viņu izteikumi presē 368 publikāciju apjomā analizēti ar diskursa analīzes, kontentanalīzes un kritiskās metaforu analīzes palīdzību. Pētījuma rezultātā tiek formulēts perestroikas un Atmodas intelektuāļu teorētiskais modelis, kas balstās uz jaunizveidotu intelektuāliģences jēdzienu. This work analyses the discourses of Latvian public intellectuals, their persistence and change, their interaction with other discourses in the public sphere, and construction of the collective identity of intellectuals. The timespan for the research was set from the end of the 1980s till the beginning of the 1990s, which includes the transition period from the Soviet to the post-Soviet situation. This is an interdisciplinary study which connects communication studies with the perspective of sociology and history. A threedimensional model for identification of public intellectuals was developed in the course of work and applied to identify 43 Latvian intellectuals of the period of peresroika and atmoda (The Third Awakening). Their statements in the press amounting to 368 publications were analysed using discourse analysis, content analysis and critical metaphor analysis techniques. As a result of the analysis, a theoretical model of perestroika and atmoda intellectuals was formed. It is based upon a newly created concept of intellectualigentsia.
