Latvijas baznīcu un sabiedrības priekšstati par laulību

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Latvijas baznīcu un sabiedrības priekšstati par laulību” pēta, kā veidojušies un mainījušies laulības priekšstati baznīcā un sabiedrībā līdz šim. Tas palīdzēs izprast sabiedrības un baznīcas pausto nostāju un izteikto viedokļu nesaderības iemeslus, kas attiecas uz laulības noslēgšanas un attiecību juridiskas sakārtošanas iespējām Latvijā, tāpat tos, kas attiecas uz valsts un baznīcas pieejamo atbalstu un pakalpojumiem pāriem, kas gatavojas laulībai, kā arī tos, kas attiecas uz ģimenes jēdziena paplašināšanas jautājumu, lai saprastu un, iespējams, risinātu praktiskās problēmas, kas definē izpratni par laulību gan sabiedrībā, gan baznīcā. Pēc autores domām, jo vājāka kļūst izpratne par laulību, jo lielāks ir apdraudējums pašam cilvēkam, kas to pašmērķīgi veicina. Tādējādi ir sagaidāmi daudz vairāk nenobrieduši cilvēki, daudz vairāk disfunkcionālas attiecības un disfunkcionālas ģimenes. Autores mērķis ir skaidri noteikt robežšķirtni, kas ir kristīga laulība un tās priekšrocības, kāda ir baznīcas atbildība attiecībā uz kristīgu laulību un tās problemātiku praksē, kāds ir valsts pienākums attiecībā pret savu pilsoni, meklējot risinājumus laulības, ģimenes un nereģistrētas kopdzīves jautājumā, lai priekšstati par laulību un ģimenes veidošanu Latvijā būtu skaidri un saprotami.

The Master's thesis “Perception of marriage in Latvian churches and society” explores how the idea of marriage has formed and changed in society and the church thus far. It will help to understand reasoning for the incompatibility of the positions and opinions expressed by the church and society, which refers to the possibilities of marriage and legal settlement in Latvia. It also applies to the available support and services, provided by the state and church, for couples preparing to marry. In addition, it deals with extending the concept of family, to understand and possibly solve practical problems regarding marriage. According to the author, the weaker the understanding of marriage, the greater the danger to the person himself, who promotes this process on his own. As a result, many more immature people, dysfunctional relationships and families are expected. The author's aim is to clearly define the dividing line between Christian marriage and its benefits; the responsibility of the church in relation to Christian marriage and its problematics in practice; the duty of the state towards its citizen in finding solutions within such topics as marriage, family and unregistered cohabitation. This division is required for making the perception of marriage and family formation clear and understandable in Latvia.
