Stikla nozīme Livonijas iedzīvotāju sadzīvē: Cēsu pils 13.-16. gs. arheoloģiskā materiāla piemērs

Abstract

Darbā, balstoties uz pieejamo literatūras un atrasto senlietu bāzes, apskatīta stikla ražošanas organizācija un tehnoloģiju vēsture 13.-16.gs. Rietumeiropā. Aplūkotie šī perioda lietiskie avoti- Cēsu pils stikla fragmenti raksturoti izrietot no to atbilstības tendencēm Rietumeiropas reģionos. Darba mērķis ir analizēt Cēsu pils 13.-16.gs. arheoloģiskā stikla atradumus, raksturojot to nozīmi Livonijas iedzīvotāju sadzīves kontekstā. Pētījumā noskaidroti Cēsu pils 13.-16.gs. raksturīgākie stikla priekšmetu tipi, balstoties uz analogiem paraugiem šī perioda mākslas darbos, kā arī ārvalstu muzeju kolekcijās esošiem eksemplāriem. Izmantojot Cēsu pils piemēru, atbilstoši priekšmetu tipiem un to lietojumam secināts, ka stiklam Livonijas iedzīvotāju sadzīvē bijusi ne tikai funkcionālā, bet arī mākslinieciskā un sociālā funkcija.

The study, based on the available literature and the basis of the found antiquities, examines the organization of glass production and the history of technologies in the 13th-16th centuries in Western Europe. The sources of examined objects of this period – glass fragments of Cēsis Castle are described as follows of their correspondence to the tendencies in the regions of Western Europe. The purpose of this study is to analyze the archaeological glass finds of Cēsis Castle in the 13th-16th centuries, characterizing their significance in the context of Livonian everyday life. The study clarified the most typical types of glass objects of Cēsis Castle in the 13th-16th centuries, based on analogous examples in artworks of this period, as well as examples in the collections of foreign museums. Using the example of Cēsis Castle, according to the types of objects and their use, it was concluded that glass had not only a functional, but also an artistic and social function in the everyday life of the Livonian population.
