Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. The bachelor's thesis "The Concept of Yin-Yang Opposites and its Theoretical Aspects in Traditional Chinese Medicine" inspects the origins of the Yin-Yang concept, its development, and its role in traditional Chinese medicine. The work traces back to the origins and fundamental meanings of Yin-Yang, as well as examines the connection of the concept with another important theory of Chinese philosophy and medicine. In the work, on the one hand, the Five Elements Theory, the reflection of Yin-Yang opposites in Daoism and Confucianism and the School of Yin-Yang are researched, and on the other hand, the application of this concept in traditional Chinese medicine is studied. The concept of Yin-Yang, being the fundamental model of the opposites in the world, attracted the interest of Chinese philosophers and was widely studied for thousands of years. Public interest in Chinese culture and philosophy, as well as alternative medicine, is growing. Today, the concept of Yin-Yang is one of the most popular concepts of Chinese philosophy in Western countries, so it can be concluded that the concept of Yin-Yang opposites had not yet lost its relevance. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the concept of Yin-Yang, and to study its connection with traditional Chinese medicine. The work consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the origins and history of the concept of Yin-Yang. The second part of the work is devoted to the analysis of Yin-Yang concept in traditional Chinese medical theory and practice. The total volume of the text is 44 pages.
