Skaistuma destruktīvā spēka ideja Jukio Mišimas romānā “Zelta templis”

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Skaistuma destruktīvā spēka ideja Jukio Mišimas romānā “Zelta templis” ir veltīts destruktīvā skaistuma galveno motīvu pielietojuma izpētei slavenā japāņu pēckara autora darbos, koncentrējoties uz to izpausmi tieši romānā “Zelta templis”. Darba galvenais mērķis ir izskaidrot “Zelta templī” sniegto pamatdomu autora noteiktās estētiskās ideoloģijas ietvaros, līdz ar to izanalizējot arī romānā atklātās filozofijas cēloņus. Darba pirmajā daļā tiek pētīta Jukio Mišimas biogrāfija, sarežģītā bērnība, pirmskara laika militārās propagandas un pēckara izmisuma ietekme, kas bija priekšnosacījumi, kuri sekmēja skaistuma destruktīvā spēka idejas rašanos. Otrajā daļā tiek analizēts galvenā varoņa iekšējais konflikts ar skaistuma kā mūžīgās vērtības nepieņemšanu, kā arī citu varoņu spēcīgā ietekme šī konflikta attīstībā. Savukārt trešā nodaļa izvēršas par padziļinātu skaistuma koncepcijas interpretācijas analīzi, autora izmantotās dzen budisma filozofijas izpēti un pēdējā destruktīvā akta nozīmes skaidrošanu. Darba pamatteksta kopējais apjoms ir 51 lapas.

The Bachelor’s thesis “The Idea of The Destructive Power of Beauty in Yukio Mishima’s Novel “The Temple of the Golden Pavilion” is devoted to the research about the usage of beauty’s main motives in the works of the famous post-war author, focusing on their expression in the novel The Temple of the Golden Pavilion. The main goal of the thesis is to explain the basic idea provided in the The Temple of the Golden Pavilion within the aesthetic ideology defined by the author, thus analyzing the causes of the philosophy revealed in the novel. The first part of the work examines the biography of Yukio Mishima, his complex childhood, the influence of pre-war military propaganda and post-war despair, which were the preconditions that contributed to the idea of the destructive power of beauty. The second part analyzes the main conflict of the main character with the non-acceptance of beauty as an eternal value, as well as the strong influence of other characters in the development of this conflict. The third chapter, however, develops into an in-depth analysis of the interpretation of the concept of beauty, the study of the author’s Zen Buddhist philosophy and the explanation of the meaning of the last destructive act. The overall lenght of the thesis is 51 pages.
