Nolieguma prefiksa un- un adverba not lietojuma variācijas pirms adjektīviem dažādu reģistru tekstos

Abstract

Šajā pētījumā tiek analizēti nolieguma priedēkļa un- un apstākļu vārda not lietojuma variācijas pirms īpašības vārdiem dažādu reģistru tekstos. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt un salīdzināt variācijas biežumu nolieguma priedēkļa un- un apstākļa vārda not lietojuma biežuma variācijas pirms īpašības vārdiem akadēmiskajos, laikrakstu, daiļliteratūras un mutvārdu tekstu apakškorpusos Britu Nacionālajā Korpusā. Šī pētījuma praktiskajā daļā tika izmantotas gan kvantitatīvās, gan kvalitatīvas metodes.Biežuma analīze (gan absolūtā, gan relatīvā) tika izmantota kā datu ieguves metodes. Rezultāti parādīja, ka izvēlētajos teksta reģistros pastāv ievērojamas atšķirības attiecībā uz apzīmējumu izmantošanu ar negatīvu priedēkli un- un apstākļa vārdu not. Īpašības vārdi ar priedēkli un- ir lietoti biežāk nekā īpašības vārdi ar apstākļa vārdu not akadēmiskajā, daiļliteratūras un laikrakstu textos. Mutvārdu tekstu apakškorpus ir vienīgais, kurā īpašības vārdi ar priedēkli un- un apstākļa vārdu not ir sastopami līdzīgā biežumā.

The research paper is devoted to the analysis of the variations of negative prefix un- and adverb not before adjectives in the texts of different registers. The purpose for this research is to identify and compare the frequency of variation of negative prefix un- and adverb not before adjectives in academic, newspaper, fiction and conversation texts in British National Corpus. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in the empirical part of the present study. The frequency (both absolute and relative) analysis was applied as a data gathering technique. The results revealed that there are noticeable differences in the use of adjectives with the negative prefix un- and adverb not across the texts of the chosen texts. Adjectives with the prefix un- are used a noticeably more frequently than adjectives with the adverb not in the academic, fiction and newspaper sub-corpora. The spoken text sub-corpus is the only one to feature adjectives with the prefix un- and adverb not¬ in a similar frequency.
