Atjaunotās tradīcijas pārmantošana: no latviešu folkloras kustības līdz mūsdienām

Abstract

Viens no spilgtākajiem ar latviešu tradicionālās kultūras revitalizāciju saistītajiem procesiem ir 20. gs. beigu folkloras kustība. Pagājuši 30 gadi kopš tās virsmērķa sasniegšanas, atjaunojot Latvijas Republikas neatkarību, un šī pētījuma fokusā ir folklorisma un folkloras kustības pieredzes pārmantošana kā process ar mērķi izpētīt latviešu folkloras kustības ietekmi uz nākamās paaudzes pārstāvjiem, kas uzauguši ar folklorismu un savā pieaugušo dzīvē kādā veidā nodarbojas ar folkloru joprojām, kā arī atklāt šīs prakses motivāciju un definēt folklorisma funkcijas. Pētījuma uzdevumi ir aplūkot tradīcijas, atjaunotās tradīcijas un pārmantošanas veidu definīcijas un to konceptualizēšanas veidus, analizēt dzīvesstāstu intervijas un definēt galvenās atjaunotās tradīcijas pārmantošanas iezīmes.

One of the most notable events tied with revival of Latvian traditional culture is the Latvian Neo-folklore movement of the late 20th century. It has been 30 years since the movement reached its goal of restoring Latvia’s independence, and this study focuses on inheritance of the folklorism experience as process with aim to research the movement’s influence to individuals of the next generation that have been brought up with folklorism and are still are connected to some form of folklore praxis in their adult life and to explore their motivation of this praxis while defining the functions of folklorism. The tasks of this research are to examine the definitions of tradition, revived tradition, forms of inheriting and conceptualization of tradition, to collect and analyse life story interviews and define main signatures of inheritance of revived traditions.
