Salīdzinošā analīze starp oriģinālo dublēšanu angļu valodā un franču valodas subtitriem filmai Trolls World Tour

Abstract

Bakalaura darba "Filmas Trolls World Tour oriģinālversijas angļu valodā, franču subtitru un dublāžas salīdzinošā analīze" galvenais mērķis ir veikt detalizētu salīdzinošo analīzi audiovizuālajam tulkojumam no angļu valodas franču valodā un veikt salīdzinošo analīzi starp divām audiovizuālās tulkošanas metodēm - subtitriem un dublēšanu - franču valodā. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, tika izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: izpētīt, kas ir audiovizuālais tulkojums un tā teksti, šo tekstu veidi, noteikt subtitru un dublēšanas ierobežojumus, veikt teorētisko analīzi par audiovizuālo tekstu tulkošanas procesiem. Šī pētījuma empīriskajā daļā, tika analizēti atlasīti piemēri, kuri vislabāk atspoguļo izmantotās stratēģijas. Visi šajā filmā esošie stratēģiju piemēri ir atrodami pielikumā un kategorizēti pēc to valodu grupas. Pētījumā tika noteiktas atšķirības un regularitātes starp oriģinālo versiju angļu valodā un abu veidu audiovizuālajiem tulkojumiem franču valodā, kā arī konstatēti izaicinājumi tulkojot šo filmu.

The main objective of the present research "Comparative analysis of the original version in English, the french subtitles and audio dub of the film Trolls World Tour" is to carry out a comparative analysis between the two audiovisual translation methods - subtitling and dubbing - in French. In order to achieve this objective the following tasks were set: study what is an audiovisual translation, its texts and the types of these texts, determine the constraints of the subtitles and dubbing, construct a theoretical analysis on the processes of translating audiovisual texts. In the empirical part of this study, only examples that reflected the strategies used the best were chosen. All of the examples found in this movie are presented in the attachment, categorised by their language group. The study identified the differences and regularities between the original English version and the two types of audiovisual translations into French, as well as the challenges of translating the film.
