Sarunvalodas elementi literārajos darbos spāņu valodā un to atveide latviski

Abstract

Šis maģistra darbs ir veltīts leksikas un frazeoloģisko vienību analīzei, kas iegūti no diviem nozīmīgiem Latīņamerikas literārajiem darbiem, kas pārstāv 20. gadsimtu, El invierno de Gunter un Como agua para chocolate. Darba galvenais mērķis ir analizēt, cik lielā mērā tulkotājs var atrisināt tulkošanas problēmas, kas saistītas ar afektīvi iezīmētās leksikas tulkojumu latviešu valodā. Teorētiskās daļas pamatā ir P. Ņūmarka, M. Beikeres, C. Pastores pieejas. Praktiskajā daļā ir analizēts korpuss, kas satur 175 leksiskās vienības, kurās iekļauti piemēri. Pētījuma rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka tulkotājam vislielākais izaicinājums bija spāņu slenga leksika. Vairumā gadījumu tulkotājs sasniedz komunikatīvo, bet ne vienmēr lingvistisko un pragmatikas ekvivalenci.

The present Master’s thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the translation units belonging to the lexical and phraseological levels extracted from two Latin American literary works, that are representative of the 20th century, El invierno de Gunter and Como agua para chocolate. The main objective of the work is to analyse to what extent the translator can solve the translation problems related to the translation into the Latvian language of the affectively marked lexicon. The theoretical part is based on the approaches of P.Newmark, M.Baker, C. Pastor. In the practical part, the corpus, containing 175 lexical units that include examples has been analyzed. The results of the study allows to conclude that the greatest challenge for the translator was the Spanish slang lexicon. In most cases the translator reaches communicative equivalence but not always that of linguistics and pragmatics.
