Mārtiņa Vilkārša vizuālā dramaturģija

Abstract

Maģistra darbs Mārtiņa Vilkārša vizuālā dramaturģija veltīts Mārtiņa Vilkārša (1969) scenogrāfijām ar mērķi analizēt no kādiem elementiem tās sastāv veidojot scenogrāfam raksturīgu vizuālo dramaturģiju. Darbā tiek pētītas Latvijas scenogrāfijas vizualitātes tendences Andra Freiberga (1938) scenogrāfijas skolas ietekmē Valmieras Drāmas teātrī, Dailes teātrī un Liepājas teātrī. Maģistra darba pētījumā, pamatojoties uz scenogrāfiju definējošiem konceptiem 20. un 21. gadsimtā un semiotisko pētniecības metodi, tiek analizēta M. Vilkārša novitāte un vizuālās dramaturģijas tendences tandēmos ar vadošajiem Latvijas teātru režisoriem. Pētījumā pirmo reizi analizēts M. Vilkārša radošais darbs, izmantojot 21. gadsimta teātra teorijas konceptus, kā arī definēti M. Vilkārša scenogrāfijas valodu raksturojoši elementi.

The master thesis Visual dramaturgy by Mārtiņš Vilkārsis is devoted to the goal of analysing the elements of the scenographic work of Mārtiņš Vilkārsis, which constitute the body of the scenographer’s visual dramaturgy. In this thesis, visual tendencies of Latvian scenography, which have been influenced by the scenography school of Andris Freibergs (1938), have been researched in Valmiera Drama Theatre, Dailes Theatre and Liepāja Theatre. Based on scenography defining concepts of the 20th and 21st century and the semiotic research, the novelty of M. Vilkārsis and the tendencies of visual dramaturgy working with leading Latvian theatre directors have been studied. In this thesis, for the very first time, the creative work of M. Vilkārsis has been analysed, using drama theory concepts of the 21st century, and the elements descriptive of M. Vilkārsis' scenographic language have also been defined.
