As it is impossible in practice to completely separate the scope of competition or intellectual property rights from privacy law, the application of different regulations may lead to confusion or even contradictions. The master's thesis aimed to analyse the interface between personal data portability, competition, and intellectual property law and see if it works and creates a certain balance or equality. This was achieved by evaluating the legal requirements of the right to data portability that impact competition and intellectual property law. The analysis indicates that the interface between the right to data portability and competition and intellectual property law have unsolved underlying issues and flaws.en_US
