Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot mazo ainavas elementu telpiskās struktūras izmaiņas Ukru pagastā pēc Latvijas neatkarības atgūšanas. Izmantojot ainavas telpiskās struktūras indikatorus, tika veikta ainavas izmaiņu un to virzītājspēku analīze. Ukru pagasts atrodas Rietumzemgales līdzenumā, kur ainavā vēsturiski dominējušas lauksaimniecības zemes, tomēr, politisko un sociālekonomisko izmaiņu rezultātā, ir mainījušās zemes apsaimniekošanas metodes. Ainava 20. Samazinoties mazo ainavas elementu skaitam, pieaug to izolētība līdz ar to ainava paliek homogēna. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out the changes in the spatial structure of small landscape elements in Ukru parish after the restoration of Latvia's independence. Using the indicators of the spatial structure of the landscape, the analysis of landscape changes and their driving forces was performed. Ukru parish is located in the plains of Western Zemgale, where the landscape has historically been dominated by agricultural lands, however, as a result of political and socio-economic changes, land management methods have also changed. Landscape at the juncture of 20th 21st centuries has lost small landscape elements, which ensure the aesthetics and fragmentation of the landscape, enhance the diversity of ecosystem services by ensuring habitats and social and economic functions. As the number of small landscape elements decreases, their isolation increases, so the landscape becomes homogeneous. The results of the study show that at the juncture of 20th and 21st centuries in Ukru parish, the landscape matrix has not changed significantly, however, there are some places where land use change has been observed where afforestation of agricultural land or their natural overgrowth is taking place. The driving forces behind the loss of small landscape features are high quality soil fertility as well as the National Rural Policy.
