Pēnelopes arhetipa konstruējums literārajā tradīcijā: antīkie teksti un to recepcijas aspekti

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Pēnelopes arhetipa konstruējums literārajā tradīcijā: antīkie teksti un to recepcijas aspekti” mērķis ir izpētīt Pēnelopes arhetipa konstruējuma iezīmes un nozīmi, apzinot Pēnelopes arhetipa izveides un attīstības literāros procesus antīkajos tekstos un to recepcijā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek pētīts jēdziens arhetips literārās tradīcijas kontekstā, sistemātiski aplūkojot nozīmīgāko teorētiķu atziņas un pētīta recepcijas studiju attīstība. Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā tiek pētīts Pēnelopes literārā arhetipa konstruējums antīkajos un jaunlaiku tekstos. Pētījuma rezultātā identificēti nozīmīgākie antīkie un jaunlaiku teksti, kuros sastopams Pēnelopes literārā arhetipa konstruējums, veikta šo tekstu analīze un sistematizēšana. Antīkie teksti grupēti žanru ietvaros, tādējādi atklājot žanru noteikto marķējumu, savukārt jaunlaiku teksti tiek grupēti pēc to tipoloģiskajiem sakariem, lai akcentētu laikmeta tendences.

The aim of the Master`s Thesis “Construction of the Archetype of Penelope in the Literary Tradition: Ancient Texts and Aspects of Their Reception” is to explore the features and meanings of the construction of the Penelope archetype by identifying the literary process of creating and developing the Penelope archetype in ancient texts and reception. In the theoretical part of the work, the concept of archetype is studied in the context of the literary tradition, systematically looking at the findings of the most important theorists and the development of reception studies. In the practical part of the research, the construction of the literary archetype of Penelope in ancient and modern texts is studied. The most important ancient and modern texts have been identified in the study, in which the construction of literary archetype of Penelope can be found, and the analysis and systematization of these texts has been performed. Ancient texts are grouped by genre, revealing the markings of genre, while modern texts are grouped by their typological connections to highlight the trends of era.
