Orientālisms krievu tautas pasaku padomju laika ekranizācijās.

Abstract

Šis maģistra darbs ir veltīts orientālisma klišejām un naratīviem krievu folkloras tekstu ekranizācijās, kas bija veidotas no 1939. gada līdz 1969. gadam. Pētījuma mērķis bija analizēt imperiālisma pazīmes "austrumu" Citu vizualizācijā krievu tautas pasaku un eposu kinoadaptācijās. Darbs sastāv no trim daļām. Darba pirmajā daļā tika aplūkota postkoloniālā optika un metodoloģija filoloģiskajos pētījumos. Otrajā daļā ir atspoguļoti dažādi viedokļi par etniskās piederības vizualizācijas problēmu krievu folklorā un postfolklorā. Trešajā daļā tika piedāvāta filmu tekstu analīze ar postkoloniālās optikas palīdzību, kā arī izceltas galvenās tendences "austrumu" Citu vizualizācijā pasaku ekranizācijās. Šis maģistra darbs var interesēt postkoloniālā kino jomas speciālistus, kā arī tos, kuri pēta padomju laika folkloras tekstu ekranizācijas.

The master thesis is devoted to the to the study of orientalist tropes and narratives in the film adaptations of Russian folklore texts created in the period from 1939 to 1969. The aim of the research was to reveal the imperialist attitudes in the visualisations of the Oriental Others, occurring when adapting Russian folk tales and epic texts for the screen. The master thesis consists of three parts. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with postcolonial optics and methodology in philological studies. The second part offers the commentary on the issue of visualising race and ethnicity in Russian folklore and postfolklore. The third part offers an analysis of the films with the help of post-colonial optics and highlights the main trends in the visualisation of Oriental Others in the screen adaptations of fairy tales. This master thesis can be useful for those, whose area of scientific interests includes post-colonialism in cinema, as well as for those who study Soviet adaptations of folklore texts.
