Vectēva tēls mūsdienu latviešu un vācu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā

Abstract

Šī maģistra darba mērķis bija veikt pētījuma korpusa salīdzinošo analīzi un sasaistē ar teorētisko literatūru izstrādāt vectēva tēla raksturojumu, izpētīt vectēva tēla nozīmi attiecībās ar mazbērniem, diskutēt par vectēva reprezentācijas aktualitāti bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā, kā arī izcelt galvenās tēmas, kas atspoguļotas caur vectēva un mazbērnu attiecību reprezentāciju bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā. Tika izšķirtas šādas galvenās lomas un funkcijas: Vectēvs kā stāstnieks, vecāku aizstājējs, sabiedrotais un rotaļu biedrs, demences slimnieks (tikai vācu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā), pirmā saskarsme ar nāvi (tikai vācu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā). Vācu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā vectēva tēlam ir svarīga un jau nostiprinājusies loma. Lai gan latviešu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā vectēva tēls pēdējos piecos gados ir kļuvis pamanāmāks, oriģinālliteratūrā ir tikai daži vectēvu literatūras piemēri; konkrētas tendences var attīstīties tikai ilgākā laika posmā.

The aim of this Master Thesis was to elaborate the role and function of the grandfather and his relationship with grandchildren, to discuss the relevance of the representation of the grandfather in children's and young adult literature, and to shed light on the main themes conveyed through the representation of the grandfather-grandchild relationship in children's and young adult literature, based on the comparative analysis of the study corpus and in conjunction with theoretical literature. The following main roles were discovered: Grandfather as storyteller, parent substitute, ally and playmate, dementia patient (only in German children's and young adult literature), first encounter with death (only in German children's and young adult literature). In German children's and young adult literature, the grandfather plays a significant role. Although the grandfather figure has become more visible in Latvian children's and young adult literature in the last five years, there are only a few examples of grandfather literature in the Latvian original literary work; concrete tendencies can only develop in the longer term.
