Pirms- un pēcrediģēšanas posms automatizētas tulkošanas procesā

Abstract

Profesionāliem tulkiem ir liela prasība pēc automatizētās tulkošana, bet, diemžēl, mašīntulkošanas sistēmas daudzu ierobežojumu dēļ nevar ražot tekstu, kas būtu līdzīgi cilvēka tulkojumam. Tomēr, pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošana mašīntulkošanā var paaugstināt mašīntulkojamību. Tādējādi, pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošanu angļu juridisko tekstu automatizēto tulkošanu krievu valodā. Kritiskā diskursa analīze bija izmantota kā empirīskā pētījuma metode. Tika konstatēts, ka pirmsrēdiģēšana pozitīvi ietekmē mašīntulkojamību un pēcrēdiģēšanas laiku, tulkojot juridiskus tekstus, īpaši tekstos, kuri prasa minimalo pēcrēdiģēšanu. Tika secināts, ka ir vajadzīga pamatīgāka un padziļinātāka pirmsrēdiģēšana tekstos, kuri prasa augstu pēcrēdiģēšanu.

There is a high need for automated translation use by professional translators, but, unfortunately, machine translation systems cannot produce a text similar to human translation because of many limitations. Nevertheless, the use of pre-editing and post-editing techniques can increase machine translatability. Thus, the purpose of the paper is to analyse pre-editing and post-editing techniques in automated translation of English legal texts into Russian. Critical discourse analysis was used as an empirical research method. It was found that pre-editing affects machine translatability and post-editing time when translating legal texts, especially with texts that require minimum post-editing. It was concluded that a more thorough and in-depth pre-editing is required with the text that require heavy post-editing.
