Ābrahāma klusēšana Sērena Kirkegora darbā "Bailes un trīsas"

Abstract

Sērena Kirkegora darbs “Bailes un trīsas” varētu būt viens no lasītākajiem Kirkegora darbiem. Kaut arī tā interpretācijas ir dažādas, ko autors nodrošina, nesniedzot tiešus skaidrojumus tam, kā būtu saprotams viņa darbs, tomēr kā vienu no darba mērķiem varam lasīt: “saprast Ābrahāmu”. Būtiska loma, tuvojoties šādai izpratnei, ir Ābrahāma klusēšanai — tā ir tēma, kas caurvij visu Kirkegora darbu un pat nonāk darba noslēdzošās nodaļas — “III problēma: Vai ir ētiski attaisnojams tas, ka Ābrahāms noklusēja savu darāmo no Sāras, no Ēliēzera, no Īzāka?” — nosaukumā. Šī pētījuma iecere ir uzrādīt un analizēt dažādos veidus, kā darbā “Bailes un trīsas” tiek runāts par klusēšanu, lai pamatotu to, ka šī nojēguma loma darbā tomēr nav pakārtota jautājumam, vai Ābrahāms ir vai nav ētiski attaisnojams.

Søren Kierkegaard’s “Fear and Trembling” could be one of his most read works. Its interpretations are various, as the author does not provide a clear and explicit explanation of the aim of his work. However, one of the aims could be: “to understand Abraham”. In approaching this understanding, the silence of Abraham is essential — it is a subject that permeates all of “Fear and Trembling” and even becomes a part of the title for the closing chapter — “Problema III: Was It Ethically Defensible for Abraham to Conceal His Undertaking from Sarah, from Eliezer, and from Isaac?”. The aim of this study is to present and analyse the ways in which silence is written about in “Fear and Trembling”, in order to show that the role of its meaning in the work is not subordinated to the question of whether Abraham is or is not ethically defensible.
