Abstract

Darba “Dzīvības koka motīvs 1 En 24:2 – 25:7” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā izprotams 1 En 24:2 – 25:7 aprakstītais koks un kādi ir argumenti šī koka saistīšanai ar dzīvības vai pēc dažu pētnieku domām saistīšanai ar gudrības koku. Darbā izvirzītā tēze – 1 En 24:2 – 25:7 aprakstītais koks, kura iezīmes citos 3. gs. BC – 1. gs. AD tekstos netiek atainotas līdzīgā kontekstā, sevī savieno kā dzīvības, tā gudrības (zināšanu) motīvu, tādejādi plašāk attīstot Gen 2 – 3 aizsākto tradīciju, kokam piešķirot eshatoloģisku nozīmi. Darba gaitā tēze apstiprinās caur veikto 1 En 24:2 – 25:7 eksegēzi, citu Kumrānas rokrakstu, kas ietver Ēdenes dārza motīvu, aplūkošanu un pētnieku viedokļu par šajā perikopē attēloto koku salīdzināšanu.

This paper's “Motif of the Tree of Life in 1 En 24:2 – 25:7” purpose is to find out the meaning of the tree described in 1 En 24:2 – 25:7 and to learn the arguments for associating this tree with life or with wisdom, according to some researchers. The thesis presented in this study – The tree described in 1 En 24:2 – 25:7, the features of which are not depicted in a similar context in other 3rd century BC – 1st century AD texts, combines the motif of both life and wisdom (knowledge), thus further developing the tradition started in Gen 2 – 3 giving the tree an eschatological meaning. The thesis is confirmed during the study through exegesis of 1 En 24:2 – 25:7, a review of other Qumran manuscripts that include the Eden motif, and a comparison of researchers' opinions about the tree depicted in this pericope.
