Abstract

Maģistra darbā aplūkoti Vidzemē tradicionālie iekšzemes zvejas veidi un attiecīgie rīki, balstoties uz LEBM, LU LVI EMK un PV avotiem. Darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz lietisko un rakstisko avotu bāzi, konstatēt un aprakstīt Vidzemes novadā zvejnieku - zemnieku sabiedrībā izmantotos zvejas veidus no 19.gs. vidus līdz 20. gs. I pusei, īpaši akcentējot to izplatību, pielietošanu, tipoloģiju un kultūretnisko ietekmi. Pētījumā sniegts ieskats par tradicionālajiem zvejas veidiem un rīkiem, ko lietoja zemnieki – zvejnieki Vidzemē, aprakstot to izplatību, pielietošanu, un veidošanu, bet akcentējot, kā kultūru mijiedarbību procesā tika ietekmēti tradicionālie iekšzemes zvejas rīki. Papildus avotu bāze papildināta ar eksperimentālās etnogrāfijas pētījumiem jaunu atziņu sniegšanai.

The Master’s thesis looks at traditional inland fishing types and the relevant tools in Vidzeme, based on sources found in LEMB, LU LVI EMK, and PV. Based on the material and written sources the aim of the work is to identify and describe the used inland fishing types of the Vidzeme region fisher-farmer society from the middle of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century, accentuating their distribution, use, typology, and culturally-ethnic influence. The research gives insight into traditional fishing types and tools, that were used by farmers-fishers in Vidzeme, describing their distribution, use, and formation, but accentuating how through a cultural interaction process the traditional inland fishing tools were influenced. Additional source material is supplemented with experimental ethnography research for new insights.
