Valodas koda maiņa raidierakstos

Abstract

Kodu maiņa jeb lingvistisko kodu alternācija kļūst par arvien aktuālāku tēmu dažādu nozaru pētnieku vidū un guvusi lielu atzinību tādēļ, ka tai ir liela nozīme runveides procesā. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir rūpīgi izpētīt latviešu-angļu valodas kodu maiņai raksturīgās gramatiskās, sintaktiskās un leksiskās īpašības, kā arī īsi analizēt latviešu-krievu valodas kodu pārslēgšanas gadījumus, lai noskaidrotu atšķirību starp katras no šo valodu funkcijām neformālā latviešu valodā. Darbā analizēts raidieraksts ar autentisku sarunu starp latviešu valodā runājošiem jauniešiem, kurā tika noteikti kodu maiņas gadījumi. Rezultāti liecina, ka kodu maiņa ir lielā mērā atkarīga no konteksta un komunikācijas situācijas, kā arī, ka sintaktiskā kodu maiņas funkcija atšķiras no leksiskās kodu maiņas funkcijas ar to, ka sintaktiskā kodu maiņa šķietami ir informatīvāka, bet leksiskā kodu maiņa – emocionālāka.

Code-switching as alternation between linguistic codes has become increasingly topical among researchers in various fields and has gained more recognition due to the role it plays in bilingual speech production. The aim of this research is to thoroughly examine the grammatical, syntactic, and lexical peculiarities of Latvian-English code-switching and consider Latvian-Russian switches as part of determining the distinction between functions each of these languages demonstrate in informal Latvian language. A Latvian podcast with naturally occurring speech of young native Latvian speakers was analysed and cases of codes-witching were extracted. The findings suggest that code-switching largely depends on context and the communicative situation; and the function of the syntactic switch differs from that of the lexical switch in terms of their functions – the syntactic switch seems to be more informative, while the lexical switch seems to be more affective.
