Dienvidkorejas interneta tehnoloģiju rašanās un to ietekme uz ekonomiku un sabiedrību 21. gadsimtā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Dienvidkorejas interneta tehnoloģiju rašanās un to ietekme uz ekonomiku un sabiedrību 21. gadsimtā.” Darba tēma tika izvēlēta, ņemot vērā informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju būtisko nozīmi mūsdienās; jo īpaši pieaugošā interneta tehnoloģiju ieviešana pasaulē. Pasaules vadošā valsts šajā jomā ir Dienvidkoreja. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt faktorus, kas ir noveduši pie šī statusa iegūšanas, kā arī to, kādu ietekmi interneta tehnoloģijas ir atstājušas uz valsts ekonomiku un sabiedrību. Bakalaura darbs ir 37 lappuses garš un ir sadalīts 3 daļās ar attecīgām nodaļām un apakšnodaļām. Tēmas izpētei tika analizēti dažādi informācijas avoti, to starpā zinātniskie pētījumi un zinātniskās literatūras apskati no starptautiski recenzējamiem žurnāliem, statistikas dati, grāmatas, kā arī informācija no oficiālajām interneta vietnēm. Pēc analīzes veikšanas tika secināts, ka interneta tehnoloģiju attīstība Dienvidkorejā nebija nejaušs process. Tas bija labi pārdomāta rīcības plāna rezultāts, galvenokārt pateicoties Dienvidkorejas valdības iesaistei, kura ir izsekojama vairāku iniciatīvu un stratēģiju veidošanā. Taču jāatzīmē, ka interneta izplatību ietekmēja arī Korejas sabiedrības kultūras normas un īpatnības, bez kurām valdības veicamajiem pasākumiem nebūtu iecerētā rezultāta. Turklāt, interneta tehnoloģiju attīstība ir veicinājusi valsts ekonomisko izaugsmi un konkurētspējas. Pie tam, cilvēki visā pasaulē iepazinās ar korejiešu kultūru. Tajā pašā laikā interneta tehnoloģijas ir izraisījušas virkni problēmu mūsdienu sabiedrībā, tostarp kiberiebiedēšanu, kā arī atkarību rašanos no interneta un no tiešsaistes spēlēm. Darba autore uzskata, ka šīs tēmas aktualitāte saglabāsies vēl ilgu laiku. Interneta tehnoloģijas nepārtraukti attīstās, un to ietekme tiek nepārtraukti pētīta, kas gadiem ejot, ļaus vērtēt interneta tehnoloģiju ietekmi uz sabiedrību garengriezumā.

The title of the undergraduate thesis is „The Emergence of South Korea`s Internet Technologies and Its Impact on Economy and Society in the 21st Century”. The topic of the work was selected in light of the substantial relevance of information and communication technologies nowadays; particularly the increased global adoption of Internet technologies. The world`s preeminent country in this field is South Korea. The current study aims to examine the factors that led to this status attainment as well as what impact it has caused on the national economy and society. The thesis is 37 pages long and is divided into 3 parts with relative sections and sub- sections involved. A variety of information sources were analyzed in order to explore the subject, including original research articles, review articles from internationally reviewed journals, statistical data, books, as well as information from official internet sources. After conducting the analysis, it was cocluded that the development of Internet technologies in South Korea was far from coincidental; instead, it was the result of a well- thought-out plan of action, mostly due to the South Korean government`s involvement, which was demonstrated via the creation of several initiatives and strategies. However, the spread of the Internet was also impacted by cultural norms of the Korean society, without which the government`s measures would not have had the intended impact. In addition, the development of Intrernet technologies has contributed to the economic development of the country`s competitive advantage. People all around the world begun to leran about Korean culture. At the same time, Internet technologies have led to the emergence of such modern societal problems as the growth of Internet and online-gaming addiction, as well as cyberbullying. The aouthor of the thesis believes that this subject matter will stay current for a considerable period of time. Internet technologies are constantly evolving, and their influence is continually being studied.
