Iskolata režīms Vidzemē 1917. gada novembrī – 1918. gada februārī: represīvā politika

Abstract

Maģistra darbā, balstoties uz plašu publicēto un nepublicēto avotu klāstu, pētīta Iskolata īstenotā represīvā politika Vidzemē laikā no 1917. gada novembra līdz 1918. gada martam, galveno uzmanību pievēršot tās pamatojumam, sabiedrības grupām, pret kurām tika vērstas represijas, represīvajām institūcijām un lielinieku pielietotajām metodēm. Iskolata režīms Vidzemē attiecīgajā laika posmā atspoguļo vienu no pavisam reālām Latvijas vēsturiskās attīstības alternatīvām, tomēr līdz šim trūkst objektīvu pētījumu par šo jautājumu. Represīvās politikas izpēte kopumā atklāj lielinieku režīma varas formu un būtību. Darba gaitā tika secināts, ka aplūkotajā laika posmā racionāla pamatojuma represijām nebija, to īstenošanas nepieciešamību noteica lielinieku ideoloģiskie apsvērumi un vēsturiskā situācija.

Master thesis, based on a wide range of published and unpublished sources, investigates the repressive politics of Iskolat in Vidzeme from November 1917 till March 1918, focusing on its justification, groups of society which suffered in repressive measures, repressive institutions and repressive methods. Iskolat regime reflects one of the very real alternatives of historical development of Latvia, however, so far there is a lack of objective studies on this issue. The research of repressive politics reveals the shape and essence of the power of the Bolshevik regime. The study concludes that during the period considered there was no rational justification for repressive measures, the necessity of them was determined by the ideological considerations of Bolsheviks and the historical situation.
