dc.description.abstract | Aim of this work was to determine the influence of muscle isometric and reactive strength on ballet jump height. Methods used for this research were: tests of plantar flexor isometric strength and isometric squat, comparison of five different ballet jump results and test of 10/5 repeated jumps using power platform and contact grid. Result of this research were observations of differences between ballet jumps heights and power, effect of plantar flexor strength on jump force, ground contact time, reactive strength index and indirect effect on jump height.
