The SARS-CoV-2 virus has become one of the most pressing and important diseases in the world in the 21st century. Since the emergence of Covid-19, it has caused a pandemic that has an impact on the world's health, economy and public life. The work investigated the development of a recombinant vaccine on the HBc VLD platform against SARS-CoV-2. Virus-like particles of hepatitis B virus genotype G were used as a carrier. Carrier fragments with covid inserts inside were inserted into pETDuet-1 and pTRP plasmids. Protein expression and purification were performed. The results obtained showed that the two-gene system does not work as well as the tryptophan system. Most likely, the problem is with the unoptimized media.
