Padomju okupācijas atainojums Gundegas Repšes romānos “Ugunszīme” un “Bogene”

Abstract

Latviešu rakstniece Gundega Repše daudzos savos romānos aktualizē nācijas vēsturi, tieši 20. gadsimta Latvijā, un padomju okupācijas pieredzi. Bakalaura darba “Padomju okupācijas atainojums Gundegas Repšes romānos “Ugunszīme” un “Bogene” ” mērķis ir apskatīt, kā Gundegas Repšes romānos ir atainots padomju okupācijas laiks periodā pirms Otrā pasaules kara un neilgi pēc Otrā pasaules kara, pievēršoties romāniem, kuros ir šie abi laika posmi. Darba uzdevumos ietilpst padomju okupācijas laika posma vēstures izpēte, iepazīšanās ar postkoloniālo literatūras kritiku, tās sastatīšana ar padomju okupācijas periodu un tā pielietošana romānu analīzē, secinājumu veikšana. Gundegas Repšes romānos “Ugunszīme” un “Bogene” saskatāms padomju okupācijas laika posms, kurā atainota padomju vara, tās terors un tās ietekme uz dzīves sfērām, indivīdu un sabiedrību kopumā. Gundegas Repšes romānos “Ugunszīme” un “Bogene” tiek aktualizētas deportācijas uz Sibīriju, attiecību modelis starp padomju varu un tai pakļauto indivīdu, kurš tiek skatīts kā zemākstāvošs, padomju varas ietekmes rezultātā tai pakļautajam indivīdam izveidojas mazvērtības izjūta. Gundega Repše padomju okupāciju ataino varai pakļauto cilvēku dzīvēs.

In many of her novels, the Latvian writer Gundega Repše highlights the history of the nation, specifically 20th century Latvia, and the experience of the Soviet occupation. The aim of the bachelor thesis "The depiction of the Soviet occupation in Gundega Repše's novels “Ugunszīme” and “Bogene” is to examine how the Soviet occupation is depicted in Gundega Repše's novels in the period before and shortly after the Second World War, focusing on novels that cover both periods. The tasks of the thesis include researching the history of the period of Soviet occupation, reading postcolonial literary criticism, juxtaposing it with the period of Soviet occupation and applying it to the analysis of the novels, and drawing conclusions. Gundega Repše's novels “Ugunszīme” and “Bogene” depict the period of Soviet occupation, the Soviet power, it’s terror and its impact on the spheres of life, the individual and society as a whole. Gundega Repše's novels “Ugunszīme” and “Bogene” highlight the deportations to Siberia, the pattern of relations between the Soviet authorities and the subjugated individual, who is seen as inferior, and the sense of inferiority of the subjugated individual as a result of the Soviet authorities. Gundega Repše depicts the Soviet occupation in her novels in the lives of people subjected to power.
