Ģitāru un ģitārspēles terminoloģijas atveide

Abstract

Ģitāra ir viens no visizplatītākajiem instrumentiem pasaulē, bet, pētot dažādus materiālus par spēlēšanas tehnikām un instrumenta aksesuāriem vai sarunājoties ar citiem spēlētājiem, bieži nākas saskarties ar terminiem angļu valodā, jo nepastāv ekvivalents latviešu valodā. Maģistra darba “Ģitāru un ģitārspēles terminoloģijas atveide’’ mērķis ir saprast, cik attīstīta ir ar ģitarspēli saistītā terminoloģija. Pētījuma uzdevums ir analizēt darba ietvaros izveidoto ģitārspēles terminoloģijas glosāriju un secināt, cik lielai daļai ir ekvivalenti latviešu valodā un cik daudz ir bezekvivalenta leksikas, kādas stratēģijas tika izmantotas atveidē, kādas grūtības var rasties veidojot jaunus terminus un to iespējamie risinājumi.

The guitar is one of the most common instruments in the world, but when studying various materials about playing techniques and instrument accessories or talking to other players, it is common to come across terms in English, because there is no equivalent in Latvian. The aim of the master's thesis “Rendering of guitar and guitar playing terminology” is to understand how developed the terminology related to guitar playing is. The purpose of the research is to analyse the glossary of guitar playing terminology developed within the framework of the thesis and understand how many terms have equivalents in Latvian and how many are non-equivalent, what strategies were used in rendering, what difficulties may arise in creating new terms and their possible solutions.
