Spriedze starp gribas brīvību un Dieva gribu Gētes traģēdijas "Fausts" pirmajā daļā

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ir veltīts pasaulē pazīstamā vācu dzejnieka Johana Volfganga fon Gētes traģēdijas Fausts analīzei. Darba mērķis ir, atbildot uz jautājumu, kā Faustā izpaužas brīvās gribas tematika, noformulēt Gētes izpratni par brīvo gribu. Bakalaura darbā tiek dots ieskats Gētes pasaules uzskatā saistībā ar kristīgās ticības morāli un brīvo gribu. Faustā iekļautie motīvi ir analizēti, ne tikai balstoties uz Gētes uzskatiem, bet arī uz drāmas tapšanas laikmeta īpatnībām, līdz ar to darbā tiek pētītas arī laikmetam raksturīgās tendences. Ņemot vērā, ka Gēte savā traģēdijā ir iekļāvis arī motīvus no Vecajā Derībā atrodamās Ījaba grāmatas, tiek arī analizētas galveno tēlu, Fausta un Ījaba, līdzības un atšķirības. Analīze noveda pie gala secinājumiem, ka brīvo gribu var uzskatīt ne tikai par laikmeta aktualitāti, bet arī par tēmu, kas raksturo Gētes morālo pārliecību. Turklāt šī tēma izpaužas jo īpaši Fausta pretstatījumā Ījaba grāmatai.

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the analysis of the tragedy Faust by the world-famous German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The aim of the work is to formulate Goethe's understanding of free will by answering the question of how the theme of free will manifests itself in Faust. The bachelor's thesis provides an insight into Goethe's worldview in connection with the morality of the Christian faith and free will. The motifs included in Faust are analyzed not only based on Goethe's views, but also on the realities of the era when the drama was created, thus the work also studies the trends typical of the era. Taking into account that Goethe also included motifs from the book of Job found in the Old Testament in his tragedy, the similarities and differences between the main characters, Faust and Job, are also analyzed. The analysis led to the final conclusions that free will can be considered not only as an actuality of the era, but also as a theme that characterizes Goethe's moral convictions. Moreover, this theme manifests itself especially in the juxtaposition of Faust and the Book of Job.
