Komiksi kā žanrs literatūrā

Abstract

Diplomdarbā "Komiks kā literatūras žanrs" tiek pētīts komiksu žanrs. Šajā rakstā aplūkotas žanra iezīmes, tā vēsture, tekstuālo un vizuālo komponentu kombinācija, kā arī apskatīta komiksu veidošanas tehnika un metodes. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt oriģinālos darbus un to atšķirības no adaptētajiem grafiskajiem romāniem. Analīzei izmantoti trīs darbi: Arta Špīgelmana oriģinālais grafiskais romāns Maus, Folkmana un Polonska Annas Frankas dienasgrāmata grafiskā adaptācija un romāna Laimīgi cilvēki lasa grāmatas un dzer kafiju Veronikas Griso un Sesīla Bida grafiska adaptācija. Darba gaitā tika veikta atlasīto darbu naratīvā analīze, ilustrāciju ietekme uz stāstījumu, pēc tam visi trīs darbi tika salīdzināti savā starpā, lai noteiktu precīzas līdzības un atšķirības. Šī pētījuma rezultāti palīdzēs saprast, kā vizuālie un teksta komponenti mijiedarbojas savā starpā un kā tie ietekmē lasītāju uztveri.

The bachelor thesis "Comics as a Genre in Literature" explores the genre of comics. This paper discusses the features of the genre, its history, and the combination of textual and visual components, and also considers the technique and methods of creating comics. This work aims to study the original works and their differences from the adapted graphic novels. Three pieces are used for the analysis: the original graphic novel Maus by Art Spiegelman, the graphic adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank by Ari Folkman and Devid Polonsky, and the graphic adaptation of the novel Happy People Read Books and Drink Coffee by Veronique Grissot and Cécile Bidault. In the course of the work, a narrative analysis of the selected works was carried out, the influence of illustrations on the narrative, after which all three works were compared to identify exact similarities and differences. The results of this study will help to understand how the visual and text components interact with each other and how they affect readers' perception.
