20.gs. starpkaru perioda modernās kustības arhitektūras mantojuma apzināšana un aizsardzība Latvijā (1984-2004)

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir izstrādāts par starpkaru perioda modernās kustības arhitektūras apzināšanas un aizsardzības pasākumiem Latvijā, iedalot tos divos posmos, no 1984. g. līdz 1990. g., kas atbilst padomju periodam, no 1991. g. līdz 2004. g., kas atbilst atjaunotās Latvijas Republikas periodam līdz iestāšanās Eiropas Savienībā. Par modernās kustības arhitektūras agrīno posmu Latvijā un citur Eiropā pieņemts uzskatīt 20. gs. 20. gados. Pēdējā apstiprinātajā Latvijas PSR kultūras un vēstures pieminekļu iekļauto saraksta starpkaru modernās arhitektūras pieminekļu saraksts bija neliels, norādot, ka starpkaru modernās kustības arhitektūras apzināšana un aizsardzība Latvijas PSR nebija prioritāra. Pēc neatkarības atgūšanas tika aktualizēts starpkaru mantojums, ieskaitot starpkaru modernās kustības arhitektūras mantojumu.

The MA graduation work pertains to the measures of identification and protection of the architecture of the modern movement of the interwar period in Latvia, dividing it into two phases: from 1984 to 1990, corresponding to the Soviet period, and from 1991 to 2004, corresponding to the period of the Republic of Latvia until its accession to the European Union. The early phase of the modern movement in architecture in Latvia and elsewhere in Europe is generally considered to be the 1920s. The last approved list of cultural and historical monuments in the Latvian SSR included only a small number of monuments of interwar period modern architecture, indicating that the identification and protection of the architecture of the interwar modern movement was not a priority in the Latvian SSR. After the restoration of independence, the interwar modern movement became relevant, reflecting a shift in cultural heritage priorities.
