Aino Kallasas novele “Sudenmorsian” sava laikmeta kontekstā un tās agrīnās ekofeminisma pazīmes

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Aino Kallasas novele “Sudenmorsian” sava laikmeta literatūras kontekstā un tās agrīnās ekofeminisma pazīmes” mērķis ir apzināt somu/igauņu autores Aino Kallasas biogrāfiskos datus, vēsturisko kontekstu, dzīves trajektoriju, un sasaistīt tos ar rakstnieces noveles “Sudenmorsian” (“Vilka līgava”) elementiem, kā arī izpētīt zinātnisko literatūru, kas par Aino Kallasu un viņas daiļradi rakstīta. Nolūks ir arī izprast noveles notikumus, laiktelpu un analizēt tēlus caur ekofeminisma teorijas lēcu. Darbā tiek sniegts ieskats analīzes teorētiskajā pamatojumā, arī autores dzīvē, tiek izpētīta netradicionālā duālā nacionālā piederība (rakstnieces darbi tiek uzskatīti gan par somu, gan igauņu 20. gadsimta sākuma literatūras svarīgu daļu) un praktiskajā daļā ir padziļināta darba analīze, īpaši pievēršot uzmanību elementiem, kas šo darbu padara par ekofeminisma literatūras piemēru.

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis “Aino Kallas’ Short Story “Sudenmorsian” in Its Historical Context and Signs of Early Ecofeminist Thought” is to examine the biographical data, historical context and life trajectory of the Finnish/Estonian author Aino Kallas and link them with the events of the author’s short story “Sudenmorsian” (or “Wolf’s Bride”). Scientific literature about the short story and its author is also explored, and so are some of the possible analytical approaches that have been taken by scholars. Finally, the elements of the story are analyzed through the lens of ecofeminism. In this paper is examined the theoretical basis for the interpretation, as well as the author’s biographical data and the untraditional dual nationality of the author (Aino Kallas’ works are considered as an integral part of both Finnish and Estonian 20th century literature). The practical part consists of a deeper analysis of the elements of this work, specifically those that allow for an ecofeminist reading.
