Sfinksas tēla funkcionalitāte antīko tekstu liecībās un latviešu literatūras piemēros: komparatīvie aspekti

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Sfinksas tēla funkcionalitāte antīko tekstu liecībās un latviešu literatūras piemēros: komparatīvie aspekti” mērķis ir pētīt un salīdzināt Sfinksas tēla funkcionalitāti antīko laiku tekstuālajā materiālā un latviešu literatūrā. Darba teorētiskā daļa apskata tādus jēdzienus kā – antīkais mīts, antīkā mīta interpretācija, antīkā kultūrmantojuma recepcijas teorija. Praktiskā daļa veltīta atlasīto antīkās un latviešu literatūras piemēru pētīšanai, Sfinksas tēla apskatam un analīzei, kā arī to sastatīšanai. Pētījuma rezultātā noteikta antīkā izpratne par Sfinksu, identificētas Sfinksas tēla atspoguļotās šķautnes latviešu literatūrā, izveidota izpratne par Sfinksas tēla attīstību un tā interpretācijām, kas ietekmē tā funkcionalitāti arī latviešu literatūrā.

The aim of the Master's Thesis "The Functionality of the Sphinx in Classical Texts and in Latvian Literature: A Comparative Study" is to study and compare the functionality of the Sphinx in classical texts and in Latvian literature. The theoretical part of the Thesis examines concepts such as the ancient myth, the interpretation of the ancient myth and the classical reception studies. The practical side is dedicated to the study of selected examples from the classical and Latvian literature, to the analysis of the Sphinx image that is to be found, as well as their comparison. As a result of the research the understanding of the Sphinx in classical antiquity has been determined, the facets of the Sphinx image reflected in Latvian literature have been identified, and an understanding of the development and interpretations of the Sphinx image, which influences its functionality in Latvian literature, has been established.
