Abstract

“Ķīmisko vielu un putekļu radītie darba vides riski stikla konstrukciju ražošanas uzņēmumā”. Darba autore: Sindija Karele. Darba vadītāja: Doc., Dr. Ķīm. Agnese Arāja. Darbs izklāstīts uz 58 lapām, ietver 20 attēlus, 9 tabulas, 7 pielikumus un 73 informatīvos avotus. Pētījumu veido četras nodaļas - pirmajā nodaļā veikts literatūras apskats un analīze par stikla konstrukciju ražošanas nozares attīstību Latvijā un Eiropā, izpētīti dažādi stikla veidi un to ražošanas procesi, kā arī padziļināti analizēts stikla ražošanas process. Turklāt iztirzāti darba vides riski stikla konstrukciju ražošanas nozarē, to ietekme uz nodarbināto veselību un preventīvo pasākumu nepieciešamība drošas darba vides nodrošināšanai. Apskatīti arī ar nozari saistītie nelaimes gadījumi un arodsaslimšanas. Otrajā nodaļā aprakstītas un salīdzinātas vairākas risku novērtēšanas metodes, tostarp Somijas 5 baļļu metode, Londonas Imperiālās koledžas metode, Austrijas metode ķīmisko risku novērtēšanai un akreditētu institūciju laboratoriskie mērījumi. Trešajā nodaļā veikta nodarbināto aptaujas anketu rezultātu analīze, sniedzot ieskatu par nodarbināto pieredzi un uztveri attiecībā uz darba vides riskiem. Ceturtajā nodaļā izdarīti secinājumi un izstrādātas praktiskas rekomendācijas, lai uzlabotu darba vides drošību, samazinātu ķīmisko vielu un stikla putekļu iedarbību uz nodarbināto veselību un pilnveidotu preventīvos pasākumus stikla konstrukciju ražošanas uzņēmumā.

“Risks to the working environment arising from chemicals and dust in a glass construction company”. Author of the work: Sindija Karele. Head of work: Doc., Dr. Chem. Agnese Arāja. The work is set out on 58 pages, includes 20 images, 9 tables, 7 attachments and 73 sources of information. The study consists of four chapters - the first chapter provides a literature review and analysis of the development of the glass construction industry in Latvia and Europe, explores different types of glass and their manufacturing processes, as well as an in-depth analysis of the glass production process. Furthermore, the risks to the working environment in the glass construction sector, their impact on the health of employees and the necessity of preventive measures for ensuring a safe working environment are discussed. Industry-related accidents and occupational diseases have also been addressed. In the second chapter several risk assessment methods, including the Finnish 5-ball method, the London Imperial College method, the Austrian method for assessing chemical risks and laboratory measurements of accredited bodies are described and compared. The analysis of employee survey questionnaire results presented in the third chapter provides insights into employees' experiences and perceptions regarding workplace risks. The conclusions and practical recommendations outlined in the fourth chapter aim to improve workplace safety, reduce exposure to chemical substances and glass dust affecting employee health, and enhance preventive measures in a glass structure manufacturing company.
