Prostatas vēža staru terapijas SBRT (stereotaktiskās ķermeņa staru terapijas) un VMAT (apjoma modulētās lokveida terapijas) metožu salīdzināšana un izvērtēšana

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Prostatas vēža staru terapijas SBRT (stereotaktiskās ķermeņa staru terapijas) un VMAT (apjoma modulētās lokveida terapijas) metožu salīdzināšana un izvērtēšana”. Tika izvirzīts darba mērķis – analizēt SBRT un VMAT ārstēšanas plānus, lai izvērtētu dozas sadalījumu prostatas audzējā un apkārtējos veselajos audos. Darba ietvaros tika analizēta literatūra par vīrieša iegurņa normālu anatomiju un datortomogrāfijas anatomiju; prostatas audzēju un tā ārstēšanu; kā arī, tika apkopota literatūra par SBRT un VMAT metodēm. Pētījuma metode ir kvantitatīva-kvalitatīva pētījuma metode. Pētījuma instuments ir staru terapijas plāni. Pētījumā tika izmantoti un salīdzināti 50 pacientu staru terapijas plāni prostatas vēža ārstēšanai: 25 staru terapijas plāni, kur izmantota SBRT metode un 25 staru terapijas plāni, kur izmantota VMAT metode. Pētījuma gaitā tika veikta kritisko orgānu iegūto devu salīdzināšana. Pētījuma laikā iegūtie rezultāti tika salīdzināti ar normālajām tolerances vērtībām. Bakalaura darbs “Prostatas vēža staru terapijas SBRT (stereotaktiskās ķermeņa staru terapijas) un VMAT (apjoma modulētās lokveida terapijas) metožu salīdzināšana un izvērtēšana” sastāv no 35 lappusēm, to veido 3 nodaļas un 6 apakšnodaļas. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is "Comparison and evaluation of SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) and VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy) methods in prostate cancer radiotherapy." The aim of the thesis is to analyze SBRT and VMAT treatment plans in order to evaluate dose distribution in the prostate tumor and surrounding healthy tissues. The work includes a review of the literature on normal male pelvic anatomy and CT anatomy, prostate tumors and their treatment, as well as an overview of literature on SBRT and VMAT methods. The research method is a quantitative-qualitative study. The research instrument is radiotherapy treatment plans. The study involved the use and comparison of radiotherapy plans from 50 patients undergoing treatment for prostate cancer: 25 radiotherapy plans using the SBRT method and 25 plans using the VMAT method. During the study, the doses received by critical organs were compared. The results obtained during the study were compared with standard tolerance values.
