Māszinību studentu apmierinātība ar klīnisko praksi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māszinību studentu apmierinātība ar klīnisko praksi”. Klīniskā prakses veido ievērojamu daļu no māszinību studiju procesa un dod iespēju pielietot iegūtās teorētiskās zināšanas praksē, attīstīt praktiskās iemaņas, iepazīt reālo darba vidi un izvēlēto profesiju, kā arī mācīties veidot veiksmīgu saskarsmi ar pacientiem. Studentu apmierinātība ar klīnisko praksi var ietekmēt gan studentu motivāciju turpināt studijas, gan vēlmi strādāt māsas profesijā nākotnē. Tādēļ ir svarīgi izzināt kāda ir studentu apmierinātība ar klīnisko praksi, kādi faktori ir saistīti ar to un identificēt iespējamās problēmas. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot māszinību studentu apmierinātību ar klīnisko praksi. Darbā tika apkopota un analizēta literatūra par māszinību studentu klīnisko praksi, jēdzienu “apmierinātība” un tā saistību ar studentu klīniskajām praksēm, kā arī analizēt P.Benneres māszinību teoriju "No iesācēja līdz ekspertam". Pamatojoties uz analizēto literatūru tika izveidots pētījuma instruments – aptaujas anketa un veikta māszinību 2., 3. un 4. kursa studentu aptauja. Tālāk veikta rezultātu apkopošana un analīze, izdarīti secinājumi un izveidoti ieteikumi. Pētījumā izvirzīta hipotēze: Pastāv sakarība starp studentu apmierinātību ar klīnisko praksi, mentora sniegto atbalstu un iespējām apgūt un attīstīt praktiskās iemaņas. Pētījuma metode ir kvantitatīvais pētījums, un pētījuma instruments ir aptaujas anketa. Pētījuma ietvaros tika analizētas 73 anketas. Rezultāti uzrāda, ka augstāka studentu apmierinātība ar klīnisko praksi korelē ar iespēju apgūt praktiskās iemaņas, iegūt jaunas zināšanas, iekļaušanu aprūpes komandā un pozitīvu sadarbību ar mentoru. Pētījumā izvirzītā hipotēze apstiprinājās. Darbs izstrādāts latviešu valodā, sastāv no ievada, 6 nodaļām, secinājumiem un ieteikumiem. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is “Nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice”. Clinical practice constitutes a significant part of the nursing study process and provides an opportunity to apply acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, develop practical skills, become familiar with the real work environment and the chosen profession, as well as to learn how to establish effective communication with patients. Students’ satisfaction with clinical practice can influence both their motivation to continue their studies and their willingness to work in the nursing profession in the future. Therefore, it is important to explore nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice, identify the factors associated with it, and determine potential issues. The aim of the thesis is to determine nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice. The thesis includes a review and analysis of literature on nursing students’ clinical practice, the concept of "satisfaction" and its relation to clinical practice experiences, as well as an analysis of Patricia Benner’s nursing theory “From Novice to Expert.” Based on the reviewed literature, a research instrument — a survey questionnaire — was developed, and a survey was conducted among 2nd-, 3rd-, and 4th-year nursing students. The collected results were compiled and analysed, conclusions were drawn, and recommendations were developed. The hypothesis proposed in the study states that there is a correlation between nursing students’ satisfaction with clinical practice, the support provided by the mentor, and opportunities to acquire and develop practical skills. The research method used was a quantitative study, and the research instrument was a survey questionnaire. A total of 73 completed questionnaires were analysed. The results show that higher student satisfaction with clinical practice correlates with the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain new knowledge, be included in the care team, and experience positive collaboration with the mentor. The hypothesis proposed in the study was confirmed. The thesis is written in Latvian and consists of an introduction, six chapters, conclusions, and recommendations.
