Māsu pieredze pediatrijas nodaļās pacientu nozokomiālo infekciju risku mazināšanā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māsu pieredze pediatrijas nodaļās pacientu nozokomiālo infekciju risku mazināšanā”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāda ir māsu pieredze pediatrijas nodaļās, pacientu nozokomiālo infekciju risku mazināšanā. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un pētījuma empīriskās daļas. Darba teorētiskajam pamatam tika izmantota Patrīcijas Benneres izstrādātā māszinības koncepcija “No iesācējas līdz ekspertei,” saistībā ar māsu pieredzes noteikšanu. Pētījumā tika apkopota un analizēta literatūra par nozokomiālo infekciju izplatību pediatrijas pacientiem un prevencijas pasākumu ievērošanu aprūpes personālam. Bakalaura darbā tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode. Iegūtie dati tika analizēti ar kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes metodi. Apkopojot intervijas datu atbildes, tika veikti secinājumi. Pētījuma darba jautājums - kāda ir māsu pieredze pediatrijas nodaļās pacientu nozokomiālo infekciju risku mazināšanā? Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka māsu pieredze nozokomiālo infekciju risku mazināšanā ir vērsta uz novērojumiem praktiskajā darba vidē, kas ietver iztrūkstošus pasākumus, kā individuālo aizsarglīdzekļu iztrūkstoša vai nepilnīga lietošana, prasmju un pieredzes trūkums, kā arī iztrūkstoša pašmotivācija kontroles pasākumu aktuālās informācijas pārvaldībā.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is “Nurses’ experience in paediatric ward in reducing patients’ nosocomial risks”. The thesis aims to find out the experience of nurses in paediatric departments in reducing patients’ nosocomial risks. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part of the research. The theoretical basis of the thesis was the nursing concept “From Novice to Expert” developed by Patricia Benner to determine nurses’ experience. The study summarised and analysed the literature on the prevalence of nosocomial diseases in paediatric patients and the adherence to preventive measures by nursing staff. The bachelor’s thesis used a qualitative research method. The obtained data were analysed using the qualitative content analysis method. By summarising the interview data responses, conclusions were drawn. The research question: What is the experience of nurses in paediatric departments in reducing patients’ nosocomial risks? The study found that nurses’ experience in reducing the risk of nosocomial infections is focused on observations in the practical work environment, which include missing measures, such as missing or incomplete use of personal protective equipment, lack of skills as experience, as well as missing self-motivation in managing current information on control measures.
