Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma - Aprūpe ar perifēro venozo katetru pediatrisko pacientu nodaļā. Tēmas aktualitāte ir aktuāla, jo perifērais venozais katetrs ir bieži izmantota invazīva metode, kas ļauj nodrošināt medikamentu, šķīdumu ievadīšanu, taču tai ir arī paaugstināts komplikāciju risks, piemēram, infekcijas, flebīts. Kvalitatīva aprūpe un regulāra novērošana ir būtiska, lai nodrošinātu pacienta drošību un ārstēšanās efektivitāti. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot izaicinājumus un aprūpi perifērā venozā katetra aprūpē pediatrijā. Pētniecības uzdevumi izvirzīti, lai sasniegtu izvirzīto darba mērķi un hipotēzes apstiprināšanos. Pētījuma hipotēze: Māsas praktizē drošu perifēro venozo katetru aprūpi, un viens no biežākajiem izaicinājumiem perifēro venozo katetru aprūpes procesā ir flebīts. Pētījumā tika izmantota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 vispārējās aprūpes māsas. Pētījuma instruments - anketa.

Quality care and regular follow-up are essential to ensure patient safety and the effectiveness of treatment. The aim of this paper is to identify the challenges and care of peripheral venous catheter in paediatrics. The research objectives were set to achieve the stated aim of the work and to confirm the hypothesis. Research hypothesis: Nurses practice safe peripheral venous catheter care and one of the most common challenges in peripheral venous catheter care is phlebitis. The study used a quantitative research method. 100 general nurses participated in the study. The research instrument was a questionnaire.
